Payroll Distribution Manager
What good is running payroll if people don’t get paid on time? The answer is no good at all! Our distribution team works tirelessly behind-the-scenes to make sure that as soon as a client submits their payroll, they can breathe easy knowing that paychecks will be in their employees’ hands in a timely fashion. Employees are happy, which makes our clients happy, which makes us happy. It’s like one big happiness train, and we’re looking to bring on a hard-working, detail-oriented, people person to be the engineer!
Position Summary
This position is responsible for managing the distribution department. The Distribution Manager will assist in hiring, disciplinary actions, as well as monitoring workload of the group. Ensure that payrolls are processed, printed, packaged, and sent out in a timely manner. Help retain customers through ensuring the correct forms of delivery are used to get clients their payroll accurately and efficiently. Troubleshoot issues that Distribution Technicians cannot resolve themselves. Provide suggestions on process improvements and new ways to help keep our clients experience a positive one.

Essential Functions
- Responsible for the day-to-day questions and issues that arise in the Distribution department.
- Managing workloads of the department through observation, mentoring staff and oversight of processes.
- Assisting with delivery questions, customer service correspondence, and training of distribution team members.
- Will oversee the supply process of checks/paper and forms needed by Complete Payroll Departments
- Oversee projects for the department as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information.
- Will attend weekly management meetings and complete documentation for reporting purposes
- Will participate in and may supervise in a wide range of company projects and events.
Non-Essential Duties

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- AS in Business preferred or equivalent experience.
- 2 plus years of management level experience is required.
- Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet savvy, google apps knowledge are required.
- Experience with payroll software a plus.
- Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be efficient with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of mail delivery services such as UPS, USPS, etc. preferred.
- Must have strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
- Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem solving.
- Proven ability to manage projects.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment and confidentiality in maintaining sensitive information.
Decision-Making Latitude
- Will be expected to provide employee performance reviews that will determine disciplinary actions
- Uses independent judgment to provide solid client relationships.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- he Distribution Manager will be responsible for overseeing the distribution department.

- Personal Computer, Internet, Calculator, MS Office (Word, Excel), Google apps, Evolution payroll software, iSolved software, Various Printers, CRM software.

- Budgeting planning and forecasting for assigned department

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
Working Conditions:
The scheduled workweek is a 5-day workweek. Hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. Overtime may be required.
